There is so much horse information in here that I don't know where to start! This is the perfect

book for any horse-crazy girl. It starts off with a fun quiz called "Are you horse crazy?" and goes into what your dream horse would be like and how to come come up with the best name for your horse. There is interesting information like why racehorses have such weird names (something I've wondered about for a long time) and and how to tell what a horse is feeling.
There are chapters describing the  The parts of a horse, their coloring, horse tack and equine history. If you're looking for the best horse movies, books, websites and horse places and events it's all  in here. Want to learn how to draw a horse, how plan a horse themed party and the best clothes to wear when riding? The answers are all in there. My favorite chapter is the last one entitled "When I Grow Up I Want to Be ...." which gives all the possible career possibilities for someone who loves horses based on their personality ie: if they're artistic, scientific, love to ride, love to teach etc.
This fun, informative book is definitely a book that every horse-crazy girl needs in her library.
