Introduction

I love books and so does my husband. We have them stashed in every corner of the house, under the bed, in the closet, everywhere. We love reference books, how-to books, classic books and even some of Oprah's picks. So it was only natural that one of the first things I did upon finding out that I was pregnant was to join the Children's Book Club.

Our baby had a huge library of books even before she was born. Luckily enough our love of books seems to have been passed on to her. At two years old she drags books everywhere she goes and when you ask her if she wants to look at a book she will usually come out with a pile of at least five or six.

She has all of the classics, Walt Disney, Dr. Seuss, Robert Munsch and she also has lots of newer ones that are sure to become classics over the years.

I have decided to share some of these books with you and hopefully you will find the same kind of joy and unforgettable memories that we have had and continue to have with books.

The first book I will be looking at is not actually a book for baby but a book about baby. It's a book for parents of babies, like mine, who don't sleep. So if your baby seems to never sleep come back and see what I have to say about this morale boosting book. What book is it? I'll give you a little hint, the author is a well known pediatrician and author and has been a guest on Oprah.....
